Gaming graphics with up to 3 hours battery life

rockdirect's latest offering is the portable 15.4” Pegasus 650, incorporating automatic processor overclocking and ATI Mobility Radeon X700 graphics. The Intel® Centrino™ notebook has 802.11a/b/g WiFi as standard and weighs 3.1kg, offering the ultimate balance between power and portability.

While gaming, the ATI Mobility Radeon X700 graphics on PCI-Express bus will make light work of even the latest gaming titles. Preparing a presentation or just writing emails? Turn off the X700 graphics using the built in switch and boot up with Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900 enabled for over 3 hours of battery life and the graphical power you need for desktop tasks and DVD movies. Instant-on technology allows you to watch DVDs and play other media without loading Windows.

Pegasus 650 is a notebook designed with the future in mind. The graphics module is fitted on an MXM daughterboard meaning that when upgrades become available, the notebook can be returned to rockdirect and brought up to the latest specification.

Pegasus 650 comes in a range of colours; customers can choose one of the stunning automotive finishes at no extra cost from Bad Boy Black, Diablo Red, Chameleon, Estorial Blue or Standard Silver.

The Pegasus 650 is a serious notebook that contains the latest technology and has the core basics that you need in any notebook: an 80GB hard drive, 8x Dual Layer DVD writer, 3 USB ports and 3 years parts and labour collect and return insurance backed.

Prices for the Pegasus 650 start from £999 ex VAT for the 1.86GHz Pentium M 750 model. For more information please visit www.rockdirect.com.
